Yesterday, Lacey made a short movie of our adorable children being adorable and cute and funny. She used our little point-and-shoot digital camera to take the video, and, as a result, the video quality is pretty poor.
See what I mean? This is the lowest resolution that Youtube is capable of displaying and it's still too high for this video.
So I got to thinking, "this can't be the best the camera can do, can it?" And I started playing around with the settings and took some sample videos.
As it turns out, the camera can do much better... But only if you set it to. The default setting is crappy low resolution video even though the camera can do much better if you let it.
Just think of all the great videos we could've had all this time.
sounds like operator error to me. didn't all that schooling incorporate technology training like this into its course material? Were you paying attention?? ;)
