Dare I say BEYOND Outraged!!!

So, I totally have a problem with peeling eggs.. Yes, I said peeling hard boiled eggs... As a kid growing up I never had a problem, but now I can't seem to get it right. The are peeling off everything but the shell.. It's very frustrating! I am a perfectionist and don't want them all messy and gouged out looking.. You certainly can't make deviled eggs with them looking all crazy! Martha would be appalled and so would I.

My mom says right when they are done she puts them in cold water and they peel fine. Alton Brown says to peel them in warm water.. I'll tell you the the warm is not working..

Please help? I truly need answers.

Survivor

We just found our that our dvr has not been recording survivor. Grrr Apparently it was set to record on channel 380 which we do not get. I have fixed it and we will be recording from now on but we missed the first couple shows. Come on dvr there are a few things we really long for you to come through for us and recording 16 episodes of Dora is not one of them.

Geeky Oops!

Somehow when Chris was trying to help me to fix something on my computer, he accidently deleted ALL my passwords that were in the cookies. So, right now, when I went to log in, I had to try and remember what my password to blogger was.. UGH. I'm not mad at him, but it is very annoying!

darn, I did it again and posted on Outrage instead of Orange...that's what happens when you blog while lying on the couch watching Cary Grant.

Trying to recover the voice

Finally a quiet Sunday afternoon with nothing much going on. So I am watching Arsenic and Old Lace (We won't have any STRANGERS buried in our cellar!) in the glow of a brilliant ruby red sunset. With a computer in my lap. I know that I have been neglecting the blog...somehow all the starch went out of my sails after the jury ordeal.

Stupid online shopping

So I am online shopping at JoAnns for some fleece fabric that is for a awesome price when all of a sudden my cart worth of 46 dollars jumps up to 110 dollars. Apparently the sale ended at midnight eastern time and I had to say farewell to some awesome christmas presents. Argggg I can not believe that they would just change the price of things in my cart while I am in the process of checking out. Arggg Argggg and Arggg

Alex Got Bit

So Alex got Bit by a little girl at Sunday School this morning. I didn't really think it was a big deal until I actually saw it.. I'm not really happy about it. I wasn't there when they told Chris. I was actually at the park taking Family Portraits, So I didn't see it til hours later and that's when I got mad.. Mainly because it was STILL there.. So this photo was taken about 7 hours after the incident and it's still there. So, I'm going to send the director an email about the situation. I know that kids bite each other. It's just what they "sometimes" do. Alex is even guilty of it, but evidence this late in the day... Come on???

As for Alex: He cried and the little girl got into trouble, so he told us. But he didn't retaliate. I think he was happy enough that she got into trouble.

UPDATE: so I talked to the mom (she called me & was very sweet & sorry) and told me the whole story. The little girl sat in Alex's chair and he pushed her out of it and on to the floor and then she bit him. I knew there had to be a back story to this whole thing.. so, we've had a big conversation about not pushing people out of chairs and then you won't get bit.. :) Now me and the mom have a play date for Pump It Up. :) Hopefully there's no pushing or biting.
